About CR Students

When we meet

Calvary Road Students meets every week on Wednesday night. We begin with a meal at 5:45pm and worship and Bible study at 6:30pm. If you have a busy Wednesday night and don’t have time for dinner before church, come join us. Parents are invited to eat with us too!

Why we meet

1. Biblical Teaching

  • To know and love God more through the learning of His Word.

2. Community

  • We meet regularly to encourage and lift each other up through worship and small groups.

3. Service

  • We serve our community in order to let our light shine forth and glorify our Father.

Student Policies

Below you will find an outline of our expectations for student ministry. These policies apply to everyone who is a regular attender and/or a member at CRBC.

General Expectations:

Students are expected to behave in accordance with the student behavior policy (see pastor Seth if you would like a copy of these). On Wednesday nights, or any other night students meet at the multipurpose or other church facilities, girls and guys are expected to stay either in multipurpose building or in the parking lot where basketball goal is. Everywhere else is off limits. No one is allowed under the pavilion or on the playground. If students desire to go somewhere else or to one of these places, they can ask an adult leader who will go with them to supervise. If there is no adult available, then the student is not allowed to go. After student services on Wednesday nights, students may go up to auditorium if they have parents who are practicing music. Otherwise, they are to stay either in the multipurpose or in the parking lot near the basketball goal until their parents pick them up or, if they drive, until they leave the church premises.

Dress policy of CRBC Student Ministry:

The following are dress policies for those who are regular attendees of the student ministry, members of Calvary Road and  followers of Christ who attend our meetings. We understand that in light of today’s culture that not everyone who walks through the doors of the student ministry is going to keep our dress code. Especially those who don’t attend church or have a relationship with Jesus. The expectations outlined are standards of those who are representatives of our church and student ministry (i.e., members, regular attendees and  followers of Jesus). We always to desire to display the love and glory of Christ in all that we do and dressing modestly is one of the best ways to do this. These standards are for both guys and girls and are equally important for both genders. Proper dress attire is not to keep boys and girls from lusting after each other, but to honor Christ.
